The Aston Martin DBS is a super sport car manufactured by the British. The DBS has been launched in India in two variants viz. Aston Martin DBS 6L V12 Coupe and the Aston Martin DBS Volante. The Volante is a convertible model of the DBS. And even with the roof up, the Volante keeps up the coupe like profile of the car. The gear knob of the DBS is a chunky piece of metal and makes you feel that you have got something amazing in your hand. Aston Martin DBS is made available in four variants, Aston martin DB9 Coupe and Aston martin DB9 Volante. The car is equipped with a volatile 48-valve, 5935 cc V12 engine with a six-speed manual gearbox which helps in distributing the engine power smoothly and effectively. The powerful engine produces a mileage of approx 5Kmpl on city roads and about 8 Kmpl on highways.

The car is equipped with a volatile 48-valve, 5935 cc V12 engine with a six-speed manual gearbox which helps in distributing the engine power smoothly and effectively. The engine is front mid-mounted and the car gives a rear-wheel drive. The petrol driven super luxury car has a maximum power of 510bhp at 6500 rpm and has a maximum torque of 570Nm at 5750 rpm.


Exterior Appearance



The Aston Martin DBS has a two-door coupe body style with 2+0 seating where as the DBS Volante has an optional 2+2 seating with two-door soft-cover convertible top body style. Both the variants have the extruded bonded aluminium VH body structure. The Aston Martin DBS body is made up of aluminium, magnesium alloy and carbon-fibre composite. The doors also have side impact beams. All the three versions are 4720mm long, 1905mm wide. The DBS coupe is 1280mm high while the DBS Volante is 1289mm high. Kerb weight of the DBS Volante manual is 1810kg and touchtronic 2 is 1850kg. While Kerb weight of the DBS coupe manual is 1695kg and touchtronic 2 is 1740kg. The car is a mixture of high end performance with aggressive looks. It is good choice to suit your budget this car is just the one you were dreaming about. It has headlamps and fog lamps, front turn indicators and rear View Mirrors. From the side view this car looks stylish and up-market. It is also well equipped with rear combination lamps with the brake light at the middle.



Interior Appearance



There is a long list of what the DBS has to offer from the inside. The DBS provides just the right amount of luxury mixed with its sporty characteristic to appeal to the customer. The Aston Martin DBS coupe has a full-grain leather interior. The dashboard has a matrix alloy facia trim with piano black centre console finish and iridium silver surround. The awfully sporty steering wheel is wrapped in leather as well. The DBS has carbon fibre door trims and door pulls. The seats of the DBS are electrically adjustable and the sports seats include the side impact airbags. The seats and exterior mirrors have three memory settings. The airbags in the front are dual stage. The ORVWs (outside rear view mirrors) are heated and have a power fold feature. The DBS also has heated/cooled seats. The rear screen on the DBS is heated too.


Wheels


The Aston Martin DBS runs on 20 inch rims. The car has 20-spoke cast alloy silver painted wheels. The front wheel is 8.5Jx20 inches. The rear wheel is 11Jx20 inches. Front tyre is from Pirelli P zero 245/35 ZR20 and the rear tyre is a Pirelli P zero 295/30 ZR20.

The front brakes on the Aston Martin DBS are ventilated carbon ceramic discs which are 398mm in diameter with six-piston monobloc callipers. The rear brakes are ventilated carbon ceramic discs 360mm in diameter with four-piston monobloc callipers. It has ABS, Brake assist system, Ventilated four-wheel disc brakes, Electronic brake distribution, Electronic traction control (via ABS & engine management), Immobilizer, Center mechanical limited-slip differential, Driver selectable responsive suspensionfeatures: electronic-control, Electronic Stabilization Control (ESC) stability control, Independent front and rear wishbone suspension with stabilizer bar and coil springs and Tire Kit to make your journey smooth and memorable one.
