SAN Storm, the only child of SAN Motors in India, has been designed by the world famous Le Mans Design Group comprising of Gerard Godfroy the designer and Phillipe Belou the engineer. French style and power, a tough fiberglass body and the romance of open-air driving, the Storm looks a winner. However, the soft-top is crude and the seats are quite cramped. The Renault engine is peppy, but doesn't have the legs of a sports car - sad as the chassis is competent. A basic interior and high price confirm the Storm as a rich boy's toy. The SAN Storm has a very sporty road presence, mostly due to its broad body and its two-doors that look classy and rich. The rear of the SAN Storm has a very sporty look that contains twin sports exhausts and a boot spoiler along with the LED tail lamps.
